1. Genetically modified or engineered food should be avoided.

2. Need a sunscreen? Try pure virgin coconut oil to condition your skin to the Sun. It has been used for this
purpose since ancient times. This healthy oil will nourish your skin, protect it from the damaging rays of the
Sun, and allow it to gradually adapt, so that it can tolerate greater and greater amounts of exposure.

3. Did you know if you add a box of baking soda to your bath it will pull out toxins? It really works and feels good too.

4. Sore throat or cough? To one cup of near boiling water add the juice of one lemon, 1-2 teaspoons of honey and a good pinch of cayenne pepper. Stir and sip away.

5. Do not add salt while cooking food. It becomes toxic. Add at serving time.

6. Do not cook with honey. It will change its molecular structure.

7. A homeopathic remedy that may help with the aches and pains of arthritis is as follows; Place a small piece of skin peeled from an organic eggplant into a small jar with 1 ounce of vodka for 36 hours. Remove to a new dropper bottle. Use 3 drops twice daily.

8. Grapefruit has been show to interact negatively with a variety of medications that are taken for treating heart disease, depression, seizures, and HIV. Grapefruit contains chemicals that interfere with your body's ability to break down certain drugs. This can lead to undesirably high concentrations of the drug within your bloodstream and an increased risk of developing serious side effects. Negative effects can also be experienced after taking dietary supplements made with grapefruit extract. If you are on medication for high blood pressure, high cholesterol, depression, HIV, or seizures, consult your physician about the dangers associated with eating grapefruit. You may want to eliminate grapefruit from your diet.

9. Chew some fennel seeds after meals to relieve indigestion, gas and bloating.

10. A reliable source says most food allergies can be avoided if we breathe while eating.

11. Beware of fish fog (you feel like your in a fog) that is caused by mercury in seafood. Some fish are not safe to be eaten on a regular basis. So, be careful of the fish you ingest. Canned tuna has high levels of mercury. A better choice is canned Alaskan salmon. Make sure it is Alaskan salmon and not farm raised salmon.

12. Each morning eat 3 almonds that have been dipped into royal jelly to supply all the B-12 your body requires.

13. Willards Water is excellent for burns. Apply as soon as possible.

14. A couple of drops of olive oil burned in a seven-day candle will eliminate mold odors.

15. An amethyst stone in your cats (dogs) water dish is said to eliminate fleas. I know for a fact it eliminates worms.

16. Brewers yeast rubbed into an animal's coat prevents fleas.

17. In Ayurvedic medicine it is said that 3 capsules a day of turmeric will help prevent cancer. Recent studies have shown 200-600 mcg of selenium taken daily will help prevent cancer. Brazil nuts are an excellent source of selenium. You will need to take a quarter cup daily.

18. Organic, free-range egg whites are also a good source of selenium and protein.

19 To remove heavy metals from the body in a gentle way, place Willards water on the soles of the feet. Then place aluminum foil shiny side up against the feet. Wear them in your shoes for several hours a day.

20. A prayer for the upliftment and cleansing of the foods we eat.

Prayer is the most powerful tool we have. Placing our intention into our food using all the feeling we have, manifests our desires. To feel the intention is important because then it is not coming from the head where you would be just saying it, but rather it comes from the heart and is filled with passion and feeling that makes it so.
Begin the prayer always by first Blessing ones own self. "I Bless Myself and I Bless this food raising it to its highest vibration up to my vibration removing all toxins and transmuting them into wonderful and healthy enzymes". Adding other intentions is also good, like, "this food heals my body or I fill this food with love and joy in my life"Ingesting what ever you desire to come true for you!

21. Flu buster
Place one shitake mushroom in a cup of near boiling water. Let steep until the water turns pale yellow. Drink. This tea produces interferon in the body helping to fight the flu.

22. We remember Goddess Re saying it is very advantageous to take a walk around 5:30 or 6 p.m. in the evening for a balancing effect on the body and mind.

23. Also, umeboshi plum paste or concentrate ingested orally in a small dose balances the acid/alkaline of the blood within a half-hour.

24. The merkosetic prayer done by a facilitator before any undertaking - whether it be healing, yoga, etc...brings forth a great availability of knowing for what is the highest path to take for that client or situation.

25. Fresh papaya greatly increases the velocity of the breast milk of a lactating mother.

26. A copper wire rolled into a small ball and placed into a glass of water at one's bedside table will infuse the water overnight. When this infused water is ingested first thing in the morning, the copper molecules bombard the thymus gland and boost one's immune system by stimulating the production of T-cells.

27. One of the strongest remedies for fungal infections of the skin, and has been used in Ayurveda for centuries is fresh basil juice. I put basil leaves and stems in my juicer and then clean out the pulp to mix with it to give it some holding consistency. I have used it on a pesky fungus that I have not been able to get rid of for several years, and in 3 days it is GONE. In Ayurveda, basil is the most holy of plants next to the lotus flower. This is very inexpensive, easy and extremely effective. In third world countries, especially those of subtropical climates--if you cannot handle fungus problems, you become the fungus problem.

28. Burning a blue and green candle will help clear and cleanse what is placed before them.
Place the food or medicine or whatever you are choosing to clear of any substance that is not in alignment with your highest truth, between a blue and green candle. Light the candles and place your intention to remove these substances. Allow the candles to burn out completely ( no blowing out in between). When this has occurred, the substance is clear.

29. Dioxin carcinogens cause cancer, especially breast cancer. We should not be heating our food in the microwave
in plastic containers. The combination of fat, high heat and plastic releases dioxins into the food and ultimately into the cells of the body. Instead, it is recommended using glass, (Corning Ware) or ceramic containers for heating food. Such things as TV dinners, instant ramen and soups, etc., should be removed from their containers and heated in glass or ceramic. The use of plastic wrap over foods as they are being nuked will actually drip poisonous toxins into the food, use paper towels instead. Along those lines, foods should be stored in glass containers not plastic. The longer food is exposed to plastic the better the chance chemicals have of leaching into it.

30. Flaxseeds can be used in place of soy for menopause because they contain higher levels of phytoestrogens. Also rich in antioxidants which is especially helpful with Lupus on the enzyme level. Placed in the blender with water in equal parts, the seeds become quite viscous and can be used to replace eggs in many recipes. This is particularly useful in baking. Crushed flaxseeds sprinkled over cereal or baked into bread, casseroles, etc. deliver an outstanding laxative effect. It stimulates the bowel movements by delivering muscle contractions on an enzyme level. Flaxseed oil can replace fish oils for Omega 3 fatty acids. (a mercury free alternative).
[Flax seeds should always be ground or crushed; if not they pass right through the system thereby losing all their beneficial properties].

31. A Test for Candida
Before retiring in the evening fill a glass with water and put it by your bedside. First thing in the morning, before you put anything in your mouth work up a bit of saliva and spit into the glass of water. Watch what happens to the saliva. If you see strings (like legs) traveling down into the water or cloudy saliva sinking to the bottom of the glass or cloudy specks suspended in the water, you have candida. You can check the water every 15 minutes up to an hour and if the saliva still stays on the top of the water you are candida-free.

32. Cold sores can be healed in less than a day with the application of vitamin E. Pierce a capsule of vitamin E onto a Q-tip and apply to the problem area.

33. When using vitamin E be sure to use only the natural and not the synthetic form. The synthetic form is said not to be true vitamin E because half of it contains a molecule that can't be used by your body and may do harm. Studies have linked this molecule to respiratory problems.
How do you tell the difference between the two? d-alpha-tocopherol, is the natural form and dl-alpha tocopherol, the synthetic one. I remember by thinking keep the L out.

34. Is It a Stroke?
Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster for the stroke victim. A stroke victim may suffer brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke. Now doctors say any bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple questions:

* Ask the individual to smile.
* Ask him or her to raise both arms.
* Ask the person to speak a simple sentence.

* If he or she has trouble with any of these tasks, call 9-1-1 immediately and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher.

35. HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN ALONE

If you are alone and suddenly you start experiencing severe pain in your chest that starts to radiate out into your arm and up into your jaw. Remember the instructions below.

Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack, without help, the person whose heart is beating improperly and who begins to feel faint, has only about 10 seconds left before losing consciousness. However, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously. A deep breath should be taken before each cough, and the cough must be deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside the chest. A breath and a cough must be repeated about every two seconds without let-up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again. Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating. The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm. In this way, heart attack victims can get to a hospital.

36. For those who would like to diminish wrinkles.
Vitamin C applied to the face daily is said to improve wrinkling, softness and overall appearance by 73.7%. Vitamin C dramatically boosts collagen production.

37. Need a temporary energy surge. Try hot peppers. Capsaicin, the active ingredient in hot peppers causes your brain to secrete endorphins, the powerful stimulant. The pepper rush lasts about half and hour.

38. Gingo biloba has been shown, in a recent study, to even help dementia patients to improve their memory.

39. Mosquito bites become itch-free if you rub them with a freshly peeled onion.

40. Greener Cleaners

* Baking soda - An all purpose cleaner. Can be used straight or mixed with a little water on glass, stained coffee and tea cups, sinks, tubs, carpet stains, etc., etc.

* Coarse salt - Mixed with a little lemon juice it will clean copper and rust stains . Sprinkle salt on fresh spills in the oven before cleaning.

* Grapefruit-seed extract - Add to water in a spray bottle to remove and kill mold and mildew.

* Lemon juice - Has been used for eons as a bleach on clothing and bed linens. It will remove grease from stoves and countertops. A great wood polish is made by adding 2 tablespoons of lemon juice to 10 drops of lemon oil with a few drops of jojoba oil.

(Did you know lemon juice lowers the glycemic index of the foods you eat. If you eat lower glycemic index foods

you will lose weight and stabilize your blood sugar. Lemon Ade, anyone? Of course sweetened with Stevia extract·).

* Olive oil: Can be used as a furniture polish. Use three parts olive oil to one part vinegar; or two parts olive oil with one part lemon juice).

* Potatoes: Cut a potato in half and dip into salt. Rub onto rusty baking pans or tinware to remove rust.

* Tea tree oil: Add to vinegar or water for its antibacterial properties. Use it to kill mold and mildew, and on kitchen and bathroom surfaces instead of chemical products. Add 1 teaspoon to a bucket of water to clean countertops and tile floors.

* White vinegar: Great for cleaning glass windows and shower doors. Mix with water and a little liquid soap. Cuts grease and removes stains; removes soap scum and cleans toilets (add a bit of baking soda if you like). Pour down drains once a week for antibacterial cleaning. Add to water in a spray bottle to kill mold and mildew.

Lemon Juice is Anti-Bacterial You can use a solution of half lemon juice and half hot water as an effective gargle for mouth ulcers, canker sores and sore throats. The anti-bacterial properties make it highly effective, plus it's inexpensive and pleasant tasting. Lemon juice can even be dabbed directly on cold sores

41. Fabric softeners are made to stay in your clothing for long periods of time. As such, chemicals are slowly
released either into the air for you to inhale or onto your skin for you to absorb. Dryer sheets are particularly
noxious because they are heated in the dryer and the chemicals are released through dryer vents and out into the environment.
To eliminate these toxins and soften you clothes;
· Add a quarter cup of white vinegar to rinse cycle to soften fabric and eliminate cling
· Add a quarter cup of white vinegar to wash soften fabric and eliminate cling

42. Peanut Butter - Nuts like almonds and walnuts have strong, hard shells that protect them, but the legume known as a peanut has a soft and porous skin. When the environment surrounding the peanut becomes warm, humid and
wet - as it does in most regions of the U.S. where peanuts are commonly grown -- a fungal growth occurs. This is why they are sometime so heavily sprayed with insecticides. Largely because of the regions they're commonly grown in and the fact that they're relatively easy for pests to attack and penetrate, peanuts are also one of the crops most heavily sprayed with pesticides.
So the standard peanut packs a double-whammy risk to your health. Peanuts can be a healthy food if grown organic and in dry soil like in New Mexico. So, if peanut butter is a love of yours buy organic Valencia peanuts. Maranatha
is one of the recommended products. There are other products on the market, but again be careful to ensure they
are certified organic and that they come from a dry-weather region where aflatoxin has not been reported as an
issue.

43. Sugar Sugar Sugar - Sugar creates an acidic blood condition. To create balance, your body must pull out minerals even from your bones and teeth to keep us alive. After years of this, we develop osteoporosis. As minerals become scarce in your body, your adrenals become weak, and since adrenals control muscle tone, you become flabby and bloated. The consequences of a high sugar diet include diabetes, weight gain, candida and cravings for even more sugar. If we do not eliminate the simple sugars from your diet, they will interfere with your body's ability to fight viruses and will further weaken your immune system. Use healthy substitutes like Stevia or the Chinese sweetener, Lo Han Kuo.

44. A quarter teaspoon of cinnamon twice daily has been proven to reduce blood sugar levels, a wonderful
benefit for diabetics. The same study showed reduced levels of LDL (bad cholesterol).

45. Release hostility with Pranayama
This technique is know as Ujjayi and will help settle your mind and body when stressed out. It will create a cooling influence in the body and has a balancing effect on the entire cardiovascular system.
Sit in comfortable position and inhale deeper than normal. Exhale through nose while constricting you throat muscles. You should sound like Darth Vader from Star Wars. If you find this difficult try exhaling the sound "haaah" with open mouth. Now do the same thing with your mouth closed. Now that you have mastered the outflow use this same method on the inflow.
So when you find your self becoming upset or stressed shift to the Ujjayi breath to calm and sooth yourself.

46. To help eliminate genitically modified food (GM, GMO) from you diet look at produce stickers.
Those little stickers on fruit and vegetables contain different PLU codes depending on whether the fruit was conventionally grown, organically grown or genetically modified.

The PLU code for conventionally grown fruit consists of four numbers
Organically grown fruit has five numbers prefaced by the number nine
